Backyard Beauty

When dreaming about my perfect home, I always envisioned having a big backyard where I could throw parties and entertain guests. When we picked out our first house, we made sure to find one with a large yard where I could host those types of gatherings. The problem was, while the yard was big, it was also not well maintained by the previous owners, which meant that we had a lot of work to do before we could start throwing parties! We found landscaping in Richmond VA, and they helped us to transform our yard into the most special event space. We added foliage, flowers, even stonework and lighting! It really is a magical spot, and our guests are always amazed at how beautiful it looks. We've even had requests from friends and family to host their own events there! We are so happy with the way it turned out, and I'm thrilled that my landscape design in Bradenton FL was brought to life!

New House, New Yard

After moving into our new home, with a newborn and finally getting back to work – I have had no time for any type of care around our home. Our lawn was mowed once by a new neighbor of ours for $20 the second day we moved in, but he also managed to ruin some flowers in the process as well. Now that it’s been a few months, I realized that our backyard, much bigger than I had realized, needed a lot of work. This work would probably take hours, and that’s something we just didn't have. As much as we loved the thought from our neighbor when he mowed the lawn, we really needed to hire a professional in lawn care in Shawnee KS. I started to look around online, and with many high star ratings I finally found a place. They offered more services than I knew of, and were able to show me examples of what could be done to our lawn. We had them come out, during the day when we weren't home and they fixed our yard completely. I came home after work and my yard was so different – but in a good way! That weekend, we received so many compliments on our yard and were able to refer many people to our wonderful lawn care company.

Gathering Ideas

One great thing about the summer time after work is coming home and going out for a walk around the neighborhood. It is later in the day so the weather is cooler which helps. I also enjoy looking at the different homes and how their landscaping is done. One big thing is most all the traditional homes and their landscape in Vienna VA, are beautiful. I've been gathering some good ideas and will certainly take a couple pages from my neighbors playbook to create a great outdoor area so when I come back from my walks, I have somewhere to hang out outdoors. 

Crazy Landscape or Normal Landscape?

It may sound out there, but many things about my home design I consider a special work of art. Landscape maintenance in Napa County CA would definitely be one of these. The independence you have to do just about anything (don't break any HOA rules!) you want with the landscape in front of your home is both fun and also a little nerve wracking. You could go with something conservative with trees, bushes, and a nice design of flowers. Design Disaster

I was moving into a new home in Bryn Mawr and my entire block was lined with homes that had beautiful landscaping. You’d walk to the front of my home and… nothing. Everything was completely barren unless you count a small group of flowers my daughter and I planted earlier in the year. A neighbor of mine called my lawn a ‘design disaster.’ I felt embarrassed and I’ve never felt embarrassed over not owning shrubbery before! Commercial Landscaping

I own a hotel in Napa and we were reopening with a new branding technique in mind. Everything was completed from new furniture to new paint and paintings in the rooms. Winter Landscaping Duties

With this cold weather really starting to set in, my family and I are starting to get ready to take care of our lawn during the cold season. We’ve been going out to buy salt, shovels and making sure our lawn won’t be ruined while it snows. Living in northern Maryland, it’s hard to get to my grandparents’ house in Arlington VA to take care of their lawn. Seeing that we are supposed to have a bad winter this season, we’re very worried that no one will be able to help them with their lawn if we can’t get down there for a few weeks.
