Gathering Ideas

One great thing about the summer time after work is coming home and going out for a walk around the neighborhood. It is later in the day so the weather is cooler which helps. I also enjoy looking at the different homes and how their landscaping is done. One big thing is most all the traditional homes and their landscape in Vienna VA, are beautiful. I've been gathering some good ideas and will certainly take a couple pages from my neighbors playbook to create a great outdoor area so when I come back from my walks, I have somewhere to hang out outdoors. 

Crazy Landscape or Normal Landscape?

It may sound out there, but many things about my home design I consider a special work of art. Landscape maintenance in Napa County CA would definitely be one of these. The independence you have to do just about anything (don't break any HOA rules!) you want with the landscape in front of your home is both fun and also a little nerve wracking. You could go with something conservative with trees, bushes, and a nice design of flowers. Or you could go off the charts a little and design something out of a movie or a painting. Fortunately, my wife's ideas for our landscape design wasn't anything crazy. We began to research landscape design in West Chester PA and got some help with what we were feeling!

Design Disaster

I was moving into a new home in Bryn Mawr and my entire block was lined with homes that had beautiful landscaping. You’d walk to the front of my home and… nothing. Everything was completely barren unless you count a small group of flowers my daughter and I planted earlier in the year. A neighbor of mine called my lawn a ‘design disaster.’ I felt embarrassed and I’ve never felt embarrassed over not owning shrubbery before! I finally caved and looked up someone who could come in for landscape design in Bryn Mawr PA. I was able to find a few companies that really knew what they were doing and didn’t want to go too overboard with the colors or designs. All in all, I love the way my home looks with the landscaping out in the front of it.

Commercial Landscaping

I own a hotel in Napa and we were reopening with a new branding technique in mind. Everything was completed from new furniture to new paint and paintings in the rooms. The last thing I needed to do was find a landscaper and someone to do landscape maintenance in Napa. I wanted the people who implemented the design to continue the design’s upkeep in the months to come. We were able to find a design that worked with the new look of the hotel and even enhanced our appearance to our target customers. Winter Landscaping Duties

With this cold weather really starting to set in, my family and I are starting to get ready to take care of our lawn during the cold season. We’ve been going out to buy salt, shovels and making sure our lawn won’t be ruined while it snows. Living in northern Maryland, it’s hard to get to my grandparents’ house in Arlington VA to take care of their lawn. Seeing that we are supposed to have a bad winter this season, we’re very worried that no one will be able to help them with their lawn if we can’t get down there for a few weeks. I’ve always been able to make my way down to Arlington to visit and take care of all their lawn duties but I knew I had to find a reliable company who offers lawn care in Arlington VA.  This company that I found let me purchase a visit program ahead of time for my grandparents so they didn’t have to worry about a thing! They come every season, twice and make sure all the necessities are taken care of. This really put me and my grandparents at ease. They also offer snow removal which we will definitely utilize as the weather gets worse.

New Home, New Backyard!

I just bought a new home, and the backyard is huge! I couldn’t believe how much room I had, and was sort of overwhelmed. I had all this land, and a few chairs and a table. I talked to my mother, a gardening fanatic and she told me to find someone who does landscape maintenance in Santa Clara CA and give them a call! I searched, and so did my mom and we both found one that met all of my backyard needs. My mom stopped over, as I met with the landscaping service that we had agreed upon. Since I just moved, I was on a tight budget and they completed understood. They worked within my budget, and taught me all about my backyard! They let me know they’d stop by every month just to make sure my backyard was doing all right, and had on call service for emergencies! I was so happy with my backyard after it was all done, and so was my mom! The gardening fanatic learned a thing or two, and had started using the same landscape maintenance service company as I did. They were so friend, and always answered our silly questions!

Yard Work... Not So Fun

My husband and I love to spend time in our yard, but we don’t enjoy yard work. Both of us work long hours during the week, so when the weekend rolls around we like to relax. That’s why we hired a great Princeton, NJ landscape architecture company. They made our yard into a lovely, relaxing outdoor room that we will enjoy for years to come.
